All of the sudden, there appears to be a glut of pitchers that are candidates for the Ranger bullpen next season, particularly with Jon Daniels saying that Rick Bauer and Joaquin Benoit will be offered arbitration.

That's 15 guys for 7 slots, even though a couple of those guys (Rupe and Wilson, in particular) will probably be looked at as candidates for the 5th starter spot.
And that's why I think that we may see the Rangers do something like a Benoit-for-Jeremy Reed deal, or something similar...
