The Mets have traded starting pitcher Brian Bannister to the Royals for reliever Ambiorix Burgos.
Ambiorix is kind of a cool name. And Ambiorix is young and throws hard, and hasn't been all that great out of the pen for the Royals.
Bannister is an okay starting pitching prospect, a guy the Rangers wanted (along with John Maine) for Akinori Otsuka, a #4 or #5 guy.
Kind of a meh trade, although it makes it less likely that the Mets will be interested in one of the Rangers' random pen arms.
