According to T.R. Sullivan, Juan Dominguez is no longer a candidate for the Rangers' rotation. The job will go to either Edinson Volquez or R.A. Dickey.
Dickey has been lousy this spring, and was much worse than Dominguez in 2005, but apparently, if you have the good face, things like performance don't matter that much. He'll probably be the Rangers #5 starter to start the season.
I'm guessing we'll never see Dominguez again in a Ranger uniform...he'll go to AAA until Daniels deals him for 10 cents on the dollar...
