I don't like this trade. And I don't get it.
The only real rationale is that they considered Dominguez a lost cause here, and wanted to get a couple of possible options for the end of the rotation so that, with Eaton out, they had some choices besides going with one of the DVD trio.
Very disappointing trade, though.
