Rangers back home, having gone 4-4 on what was thought to be their most difficult road trip of the season, and still tied for first place with the Oakland A's...

Ian Kinsler will not be activated today, after all. He had some hamstring soreness which kept him out of the Redhawk lineup yesterday, so the Rangers are apparently going to wait a little longer before activating him.

Evan Grant also has this glimmer of hope on the DH front:

Triple-A Oklahoma DH-OF Jason Botts could be emerging as a possible solution if DH Phil Nevin doesn't break from his monthlong slump. Botts homered in his second consecutive game Saturday and began play Sunday with six homers and 13 RBIs in his last 11 games. He was hitting .463 (19-for-41).

Jan Hubbard reports that John Danks is getting an MRI on his elbow today, but that the team thinks Danks' soreness isn't anything too serious.
