Heading into the A's series stuff

Four game set against the A's this weekend, starting tonight.

I'm heading up to the D/FW area for a couple of days, and will be at TBIA for tonight's and tomorrow night's games.

Hopefully, the Rangers will get their act together, and start winning some games at home. Kat O'Brien says that, for the Rangers to be a playoff contender, they have to play better at home, start beating the Angels, and have Robinson Tejeda stop walking so many people.

Good news on the Ian Kinsler front...O'Brien says he's going to be starting today at second base, and says that he's getting his starting job back, with Mark DeRosa going back to a utility role. I wouldn't be surprised if DeRosa ended up starting in place of Hank Blalock or Brad Wilkerson today, though, with the A's sending a lefty to the mound.

Evan Grant notes that yesterday's game had one of the smallest crowds in TBIA history.
