Well, the Robinson Tejeda Era has been rather uninspiring. Despite the solid results down in AAA, Tejeda looked yesterday the way he has in his earlier starts, and he's been sent back to AAA, with the Rangers purchasing the contract of Nick Masset. Masset gives the Rangers someone who can pitch long relief today, after the pen was trashed yesterday.
According to Evan Grant, John Wasdin will be making a rehab start for Oklahoma today, and if things go well, he should be activated later this week, likely replacing Masset on the roster.
Grant also says that other teams are interested in Fabio Castro, and the Rangers are going to trade him, not waive him.
