Off day yesterday, not much in the news today regarding the Rangers...

Jan Hubbard has some notes on Robinson Tejeda, saying that the Rangers are being patient with him and still think he will be a quality pitcher. Thad Levine says that it is too early to judge Tejeda:

"We're not at a point where we're judging how he's performed yet," Levine said. "We want to look at this over time. Between getting [John] Rheinecker, [John] Koronka and Tejeda right at the end of spring training, we were hopeful that some combination would contribute. We have gotten a significant contribution out of Koronka and Rheinecker so, overall, the trio has excelled."

Hubbard also says that John Wasdin is expected to get the start against Houston on Saturday.

And Richard Durrett has a feature on Gary Matthews Jr.
