One of the disappointing things about the first half of the season was the poor performance in Clinton by the Rangers' top two draft picks from 2005, John Mayberry Jr. and Johnny Whittleman...
There is some good news on that front, though...if you check out Whittleman's splits, he's hitting .254/.343/.627 in the month of July.
Mayberry, meanwhile, has had a breakout July as well, posting a .318/.356/.545 line for the month so far...
