Thursday morning tidbits

1.5 games back in the A.L. West now. Of course, I've already reconciled myself to the fact that the Rangers aren't going to be a playoff contender, so I'm not getting fired up about that or anything right now. But with the Mariners losing to Anaheim, the Rangers are now 1.5 up on Seattle and 2.5 up on the Angles.

Just a few quick things...T.R. Sullivan says Kevin Millwood will miss his next start, and Jason Botts is not "high on the list when it comes to getting players in the game," but Botts is happy to be in the majors anyway.

Kat O'Brien says Kam Loe may be headed to the bullpen when he returns, although Loe is hoping he gets a shot in the rotation again. O'Brien also has a piece on Rudy Jaramillo chewing out the hitters, and the apparently positive results...

And Evan Grant is doing a chat session here today at 2 p.m.
