A few notes from this morning...
Kat O'Brien touches on the catching situation, and suggests that the Rangers could possibly do a deal with the BoSox involving Rod Barajas, if Barajas clears waivers (or gets claimed by Boston).
Richard Durrett has a feature on Edinson Volquez and John Danks. He quotes Oklahoma pitching coach Andy Hawkins as saying both are close, but not quite where they need to be to succeed in the majors, with Durrett saying fastball command is the main issue for both pitchers.
Gil LeBreton says that Jon Daniels has done his job, and now it is time for the players to shut up and play...and if they don't win, they have no one to blame but themselves.
