Craig Monroe agreed to a 1 year, $4,775,000 deal with the Detroit Tigers. Not a bad payday for a platoon corner outfielder.
Nate Robertson, a not-very-good starting pitcher for the Tigers, is getting $3,260,000 this year.
The A's agreed with Milton Bradley on a $4 million deal with another $400K in incentives.
They also agreed with Kiko Calero on a 1 year, $1.6 million deal, and with Marco Scutaro on a 1 year, $1.55 million deal.
Orlando Hudson agreed to a 1 year, $3.9 million deal with the D-Backs.
And Emil Brown agreed with the Royals on a 1 year, $3.45 million deal.
There was some talk that Brown would be non-tendered by the Royals, but obviously, that didn't happen.
However, he's one of those guys that the Rangers probably will be looking at this spring, if they decide that the internal righty-hitting DH/OF options aren't going to cut it.
And he's someone I expect the Royals will look at move sometime in March.
