Quiet Sunday, in terms of Rangers stuff out there...
Gil LeBreton has a column up, talking about the Rangers interest in some Japanese free agents. I'm an advocate of pursuing Kusoke Fukudome, of course...but Japanese starter Hiroki Kuroda, I'm leery of. Japanese starting pitchers have been pretty hit-and-miss, and I'd be reluctant to see the Rangers dump the kind of money we'd be talking about for a guy who, it is hoped, is a nice middle-of-the-road starter.
