Another morning without much on the Rangers front...

T.R. Sullivan had a blog entry yesterday evening that says that the players the BoSox want for Coco Crisp are Eric Hurley, Luis Mendoza, and a third prospect. I'm guessing, along with the Gagne trade, the BoSox would like a do-over on the Bryan Corey trade...

A team in rebuilding mode should not be interested in trading for a 33 year old closer who is a year away from walking as a free agent, and who will likely cost (via trade) at least as much as what the Rangers got for Eric Gagne last year...probably more, really...

Jim Reeves has a column up on the Rangers' quiet offseason, and mentions that C.J. Wilson is one of the players the BoSox are after for Crisp. Again, no...
