Some Rangers buzz out there, mainly about Hank Blalock trade talk, it seems...
Evan Grant says there is some discussion out there of a Blalock for Scott Rolen and Chris Duncan swap...Rolen is unhappy and hurt a lot, and has a big contract, so this may be largely a salary dump for the Cards, with Duncan kicked in as a sweetener...I'll have to think on whether I'd like that or not...
T.R. Sullivan quotes Jon Daniels as saying that's not happening, but then speculates that the Dodgers could be in on Blalock, and suggests a Blalock for Andy LaRoche or Matt Kemp swap, although I imagine that Ned Colletti would get hung from his toes if he did that...Kemp, in particular, is worth way more than Blalock...
Sullivan also says that the Rangers are still in on Coco Crisp, but that the BoSox aren't interested in Gerald Laird. Will Carroll says the BoSox want C.J. Wilson for Crisp, which I don't think the Rangers would do.
