In the aftermath of a quiet winter meetings for the Rangers, Evan Grant writes that the Rangers stuck to their plan...not to be gouged in their hunt for help. Daniels is still talking to folks, but he doesn't want to give up a big haul of prospects for a centerfielder, nor go more than one year for most of the free agents still out there.

Jeff Wilson writes in the S-T that Daniels expects to have "closure" in regards to several free agents he's been talking to in the next few days.
