Curt Schilling wants people to pay attention to him

As you probably heard, Curt Schilling decided that too much of Red Sox Nation's attention was being paid to people other than him (particularly Dice-K and Manny), and thus announced yesterday that he wasn't going to sign a contract extension with Boston, and would instead become a free agent after the season.

Dan Shaughnessy has a good piece up on the drama surrounding the guy he refers to as "the Big Blowhard," and indicates that the BoSox brass aren't real happy with the way Schilling is handling the situation.
