Angels updates

A couple of updates on the state of the Angels pitching staff...

Bartolo Colon is expected to be out until May, with Mike Scioscia saying that he's making progress in working his way back from his rotator cuff injury, but that Colon is unlikely to pitch in a Cactus League game this spring.

And the L.A. Daily News has an item on how the Angel rotation will shape up. The Angels are going up against the Rangers in the first three games of the season, and it appears that John Lackey, Kelvim Escobar and Ervin Santana will go 1-2-3, facing off against Kevin Millwood, Vicente Padilla and Brandon McCarthy.

Joe Saunders will be the #4 starter, with Jered Weaver being slotted at #5, to give him more time to work his way back from the biceps tendinitis that is troubling him.
