T.R. on the Bank

New, comments

T.R. Sullivan has a piece on Hank Blalock, and the Rangers needing him to come back strong and return to the form he showed in 2003 and 2004.

Blalock says that the shoulder didn't affect his hitting last year, but that it his timing and mechanics were off. Blalock indicates that he's going to turn himself over to Rudy Jaramillo in an effort to re-work his approach to make him less of a pull hitter than he has been the past couple of seasons.

This may be stating the obvious, but getting a productive season out of Hank Blalock in 2007 mean a lot for this team.
