Mark Shapiro signed a 5 year extension as the G.M. of the Indians. Eric Wedge, of course, has not been extended after last year's disappointment, and Buck Showalter is a consultant for Shapiro. I'm thinking Wedge is going to be on real thin ice this season, and Showalter will be stepping in if they falter at all...
Kris Benson is done for the year, after deciding to undergo rotator cuff surgery. Probably about time to stick a fork in him...
