The Rangers have claimed Astros pitcher Ezequiel Astacio off of waivers today.
Astacio was sent to the Astros as part of the Billy Wagner deal, and has shown flashes in his time with Houston, but ended up getting surpassed in the pecking order by guys like Wandy Rodriguez and Chris Sampson.
Interesting claim...I'll see if I can figure out what his option situation is...
