As you folks have probably heard, Eric Gagne is going to start the season on the d.l.
Both T.R. Sullivan and Evan Grant are saying that it is just a procedural issue to get him some more innings in Arizona before he's activated, rather than it being a health issue.
We'll have to see how this plays out, but it doesn't seem like it should be a major cause for concern.
This would seem to suggest that both Bruce Chen and Mike Wood will be on the Opening Day roster, or else one of those guys will stick along with Ezequiel Astacio...
