Fire Joe Morgan has a couple of amusing posts regarding Wallace Matthews columns, the first responding to Matthews' take that the Yankees are winning because Jason Giambi is on the disabled list, the second addressing today's column, which attributes the Yankees' failure to win World Series titles lately to the Yanks replacing Scott Brosius and the Charlie Hayes/Wade Boggs platoon with Alex Rodriguez, and opining that the Yanks need to replace ARod with the likes of Mike Stanton, Jeff Nelson, and David Weathers.
