Vicente Padilla is headed to the disabled list, to give his elbow a chance to rest. Richard Durrett says that the elbow has been bothering Padilla since spring training.
If he does go under the knife for T-J surgery -- something I think has a good chance of happening -- he'll be out until 2009, which would change some of the 2008 planning that has been going on.
