Yay, a win! Although the Tiger bullpen held the Rangers to 1 run over 8 innings, and John Rheinecker wasn't good at all, a win is a win, and I'll take it...

Despite his struggles, John Rheinecker is staying on the roster for the time being, in case the Rangers need him to step in for Brandon McCarthy or Vicente Padilla in their upcoming starts. And Ron Mahay, despite his struggles at AAA, may be the guy who gets the call if the Rangers need another reliever after today's game...

In his notes today, Evan Grant says that Victor Diaz will likely take over as the regular right fielder, and quotes Jon Daniels as saying that he isn't planning on shopping Mark Teixeira.

Now, I'm sure that that will create howls from the fans, but realistically...what else is he going to say? Does it do any good to say that, as soon as the draft is over, he's going to call every g.m. in baseball and start pitching Teixeira?

Richard Durrett, searching for a bright spot, suggests the Rangers may have found something in Willie Eyre. I had my doubts about him, but he's looked good so far this season...

Gil LeBreton looks at the Rangers' problems...his conclusion? The starting pitching has been bad.

I did a 5 questions segment over at the SBNation Tigers blog, on the state of the Rangers, if you folks want to check that out...
