Ken Rosenthal says that the Yankees don't think they are going to be able to land Eric Gagne from the Rangers, and the Mets aren't willing to part with Carlos Gomez, which means they likely won't be able to get him, either.
That would leave the BoSox -- whom Gagne can veto a trade to -- and the Brewers as the last teams standing in the Gagne sweepstakes.
I'm beginning to think Gagne doesn't get traded.
