New T.R. Sullivan mailbag up...
He talks about the hunt for a free agent centerfielder this offseason, with Torii Hunter, Aaron Rowand, Mike Cameron, and Andruw Jones all being touched on, and says that Marlon Byrd is probably better suited for left field or right field than center. The problem with that, of course, is that Byrd isn't likely to hit well enough to be a good corner outfielder, although you could conceivably use him in a platoon with David Murphy and get okay offense and solid defense from that duo (with Murphy also filling in as the backup centerfielder).
Sullivan also projects that next year's rotation will be Millwood, Padilla, McCarthy, Gabbard, and Volquez, with Loe and Rheinecker being in the bullpen (along with Mike Wood).
