Ah, returning to work after the long weekend...and alas, with the Rangers still double-digits below .500.

The big story is the status of Kam Loe, who was lifted after 3 innings with elbow pain...Loe says the elbow has been bothering him for the past few starts, and told Mark Connor after the third inning that there was a problem. Loe is not the type to ask out of games, so at this point, we just have to hope it is simply something relatively minor...

Akinori Otsuka has started throwing again, and is hopeful that he can return for the final few days of the season.
