Eddie Guardado and Jamey Wright are signed, and Jason Jennings is still queued up. Along with Kazuo Fukumori's signing, all of this would mean clearing two more 40-man roster spots, a pretty crowded pen, and, if everyone is healthy, a full rotation.
Adam Melhuse was also signed to a minor league deal, and I find that one somewhat interesting. If one were so inclined, he could draw a conclusion about either Gerald Laird or Jarrod Saltalamacchia. At this point, at least on the surface, it's only a matter of adding one of the manager's favorite players.
