Saturday linkaliciousness

I know posting has been down lately, a combination of real life responsibilities and, well, not a lot going on in the baseball world...

But here are some links to keep you going this weekend...

Brad Wilkerson is a Mariner now, and both Derek Zumsteg and Jeff Sullivan have extensive comments about that, with a lot of the "hey, he used to be good, and if he's healthy, he could bounce back" talk us Wilkerson supporters were voicing before last season...

On his personal blog, Keith Law ranks all 30 farm systems, with the Rangers checking in at #2. That's the good news...the bad news is that the rest of the A.L. West is also in the top half, although the second-highest team (Oakland) is only at #10...

TSN's Sean Deveney has a mailbag column up, although it appears to be a slow time even for mailbag questions...

Rob Neyer runs down the candidates for the best centerfielder of the next 5 years, and Josh Hamilton ends up slotting in at #9, behind, among others, Hunter Pence (who is probably not going to play center anymore) and Felix Pie.

My gut feeling is that Hamilton isn't going to be the 9th best centerfielder of the next 5 years, because he'll either be a lot better or a lot worse than that. He'll either stay healthy and clean, and be one of the best centerfielders in the game, or else he won't be able to stay on the field and will rank well below #9.
