Mo' pitchers, mo' problems

We aren't the only ones seeing starting pitchers go down...

Scott Kazmir has a left elbow strain that is going to keep him from starting on Opening Day, although there's no indication how much longer after that he'll be ready to go.

Anaheim won't have John Lackey ready to go until mid-May at the earliest...he has a strained right triceps...

That means the Angels will be without their top two starters for a while, since Kelvim Escobar has a bad shoulder, and there's no timetable for his return (although the official writer guesses it will be early May).

And Josh Beckett's back has him not able to play catch yet, and he'll be out for the BoSox's season opening series in Japan.
