Evan Grant says David Murphy has some of the former Rangers who are in spring training invoking comparisons to Rusty Greer...

I can see the similarities, although I don't think Murphy will be as good as Greer was. Rusty himself, though, says he thinks Murphy will be better, and if that's the case, the Eric Gagne trade will be a home run, even if Engel Beltre and Kason Gabbard never do anything...

Grant also says that Wes Littleton left camp to deal with a family illness...our thoughts go out to Wes and his family, and hopefully, this is nothing too serious that they are dealing with...

Anthony Andro writes that the Rangers are thrilled with what they saw from two guys coming off of injury, Jason Jennings and Eddie Guardado, yesterday...

Jason Jennings 2008 = John Thomson 2003...

T.R. Sullivan says Jennings had some butterflies, as he was returning to the mound for the first time after his awful 2007 season...

Randy Galloway has a column up...the gist of it seems to be that everyone in the organization other than Mark Connor and Dom Chiti should be fired, but Connor and Chiti (who don't have contracts beyond this season) should be extended by Nolan.

And Jason Botts talks about television shows...
