The Manager of the Year results are out, and Ron Gardenhire has won the Manager of the Year Award in the A.L., and Bud Black has won in the N.L.
Black edged out Bruce Bochy by one point. Gardenhire had a more comfortable margin over Ron Washington, who finished in second place.
This is the first time Gardenhire has won the award, while finishing in second place five times.
