Jeff Wilson's notes discuss the looming arbitration decisions and the five hitting coach candidates the Rangers interviewed yesterday.

Jean-Jacques Taylor says that Josh Hamilton needs to take the next step, including insisting that Ron Washington put him in the lineup every day, and not allowing Washington to give him days off. 

That seems like a bad idea to me.
