Sunday morning Rangers things

Another quiet day out there today...

Evan Grant has a piece today about the Rangers' pursuit of Vladimir Guerrero, and the other DH options that are available this offseason.  The Rangers are saying that they want Guerrero back, but I have to wonder if he isn't more of a fallback option.

The rumors continue to swirl about the Rangers having significant interest in Paul Konerko, who would cost more than Guerrero, and would likely command a two or three year deal, but who is also a better hitter and can play first base, giving the Rangers additional flexibility there.
