T.R. Sullivan has a new inbox column up, that talks about next year's catching situation andwhat the future holds for Matt Harrison and Scott Feldman, and suggests that the Rangers were impressed enough with Jeff Francoeur that they may not non-tender him.  That last part would be...distressing...

On the other hand, Jon Paul Morosi says that he's hearing Jeff Francoeur will clear waivers and become a free agent by the end of the week. 

MLB.com columnist Anthony Castrovince writes that the Yankees and Rangers have tough decisions to make regarding Cliff Lee, and the Rangers may make a mistake in making an emotional decision to commit to Lee, rather than a smart financial decision.

Lee's agent, Derek Braunecker, says that they are in the opening phases of the decision-making process.
