Thursday a.m. Rangers things

The Rangers go for the sweep today, after last night's victory over Cleveland.  The pitching wasn't quite as crisp as we've seen most of the season, but I'll take the end result.

Jeff Wilson's game story talks about Colby Lewis being pressed into duty at the last minute because of C.J. Wilson's illness.  T.R. Sullivan describes the pitchers as "laboring" yesterday, with too many walks and too many pitches needing to be thrown.

Evan Grant has post-game observations up here.

The S-T's notes include an update on Ian KinslerSullivan also has notes up on Kinsler, Julio Borbon, and Darren Oliver, among others.

Jeff Wilson notes that the Rangers having been running as much so far this year.

And Nelson Cruz is hammering the ball.
