With the Rangers about to start a three game series in Boston tomorrow, the Red Sox outfield is in a bit of disarray, with Jacoby Ellsbury and Mike Cameron both apparently still dealing with health issues.
Gordon Edes of ESPN Boston says that Ellsbury isn't close to being ready to return, as he's dealing with bruised ribs, while Cameron passed a kidney stone on Saturday but is still dealing with abdominal pain.
Jeremy Hermida played left field on Monday for Boston, and Bill Hall played centerfield, which represents a pretty significant downgrade over Ellsbury in left and Cameron in center.
Peter Abraham suggests that Josh Reddick will be called up by tomorrow, with either Ellsbury or Cameron heading to the d.l.
