Wednesday morning Rangers stuff

Sweep of the Angels.  Texas is now 2 up on Oakland and 4.5 up on Anaheim.

C.J. Wilson is quoted in Jeff Wilson's game story as saying that the Rangers' bullpen is "rad," after yesterday's game, when the heretofore reliable C.J. struggled and the beleaguered bullpen put up 4 2/3 shutout innings.

T.R. Sullivan's game story points out that the Rangers swept a three game series against Anaheim at this time last year.

Sullivan also has some notes up on Josh Hamilton dropping to the #5 spot in the lineup for now, and the Rangers opting to stick with a five man rotation, despite upcoming off days which would allow them to skip a spot, if they wished.

Ian Kinsler, who moved up to the #3 spot in the lineup, says he's fine with hitting third.

Anthony Andro's notes include some quotes from Elvis Andrus on his incredible diving play in the hole from Monday night.

Jean-Jacques Taylor says the Rangers need Josh Hamilton to be more productive with the bat.

Randy Galloway says it is a miracle this team is in first place, given how many problems they have.
