Thursday a.m. Rangers stuff

Disappointing loss yesterday.

Anthony Andro's game story has Scott Feldman saying he feels better about his command after yesterday's game.  Still, Feldman didn't strike out a single Royal, while walking 1, hitting 2, and throwing 2 wild pitches.

T.R. Sullivan's game story leads off with how the Rangers would like to acquire Roy Oswalt, but since they can't afford him until the sale of the team is completed, they need Scott Feldman to get it going.

Evan Grant writes that this is an important road trip for Justin Smoak and Julio Borbon, whose struggles, he says, are weighing down the Ranger lineup.

Andro's notes include praise for Matt Treanor and the news that Matt Harrison will be activated at some point during the Minnesota series, and that Harrison will work as the long man.

The S-T has a story on the hearing in bankruptcy court yesterday.

Maury Brown explains why the creditors got into a bidding war with MLB this week for the right to loan the Rangers money.
