Wednesday a.m. Rangers stuff

Very nice bounce-back win yesterday against Felix Hernandez, on the heels of an uglier-than-the-final-score-indicated loss to Seattle the night before.

T.R. Sullivan's game story talks about how Colby Lewis has had the M's number this year.

Jeff Wilson notes that Lewis's start last night was only the Rangers' fifth quality start from a starter in their last 23 games, and it came on a day when the offense exploded against King Felix.

Evan Grant says that Lewis's consistently working deep into games has been a lifesaver for the Ranger bullpen.

Richard Durrett looks at the good and the bad from Elvis Andrus last night in his post-game notes.

Anthony Andro's notes from today include some discussion about the plan for using Vladimir Guerrero during this coming stretch of games in N.L. parks, when the DH isn't available, and Elvis Andrus's day off.

Kevin Sherrington has a column up about Matt Purke, the Rangers' first rounder from a year ago.
