Thursday a.m. Rangers things

Another victory last night with two key players on the bench.  The Rangers are now 5.5 games up on the Angels, and have a double-digit lead on Oakland and Seattle.

Jeff Wilson writes that Colby Lewis battled and came up big yesterday.

Chris Cox's game story credits the bullpen for putting up three shutout innings, allowing just one walk while retiring nine of ten batters.

Evan Grant's post game notes include discussion of Colbyashi's terrific strikeout rate.

The S-T's notes talk about the Cliff Lee trade discussions and Saturday's TBA starter, who is apparently expected to be Matt Harrison.

And there's a story about Nolan Ryan and the fan that fell out of the upper deck that I keep having problems linking.  Here it is.  I think the link is fixed now.
