Thursday morning Rangers things

Quite a way to end the game.  With last night's 2-1 win, and Oakland's loss, the magic number is down to 4.

Jeff Wilson says, in his game story, that the Rangers found a way to win despite the offense struggling.

T.R. Sullivan's game story talks about the Rangers being one step closer to clinching.

Three starters sat yesterday, with Ron Washington wanting to give Nelson Cruz, Elvis Andrus, and Mitch Moreland all a day off.

Sullivan has updates on several injured Rangers, including Josh Hamilton, who hopes to come back for the final three games of the year, and Frank Francisco.

David Murphy's contributions have been huge during Hamilton's absence.
