Sunday a.m. Rangers things

Columnist heavy morning....

Randy Galloway has a column about the Rangers' off-season that is surprisingly non-accusatory, saying that the failure to land Cliff Lee or one of the other top pitchers they were pursuing was "disappointing," but portraying it as something where things sometimes don't work out, rather than evidence of front office incompetence.

Galloway also mentions that Mitch Moreland likely would have gone to AAA had Jim Thome been signed, which I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere.

Gil Lebreton has a column explaining why he voted for Rafael Palmeiro and Mark McGwire for the Hall of Fame, despite their being tainted with PED use.
