Enrique Rojas with ESPN Deportes has a story up in Spanish that appears to indicate that Adrian Beltre is close to a deal with the Texas Rangers.
Its in Spanish, so I don't know exactly what it says, but things appear to be happening on this front...stay tuned...
The addition of Beltre would likely mean Michael Young moving into a Chone Figgins-esque supersub role, in which he DHs, plays some first base, some second base, some third base, maybe even moves into the outfield some, all while giving the Rangers 150 starts.
Beltre would likely be able to match Vladimir Guerrero's production, as well, while providing a significant upgrade at third base defensively over Young.
Adding Beltre would likely mean no Guerrero.
