C.J.'s revenge: Flirting with Anaheim.

As Mike DiGiovanna writes in the Los Angeles Times, new Angel GM Jerry Dipoto and traitor assistant GM Scott Servais dined with C.J. Wilson's agent in an attempt to show C.J. just how serious they are about screwing the Rangers over. It still seems likely that these overtures are actually an attempt to drive the price toward a range the Rangers would be uncomfortable with. But even the possibility that C.J. could potentially be an L.A. Angel is annoying.

Richard Durrett's No. 9 Dazzling Dozen moment chronicles the Rangers Aug. 5 comeback win over the Cleveland Indians which was also one of my favorite regular season games of the season.

Anthony Andro examines all of the potential starting pitching options for the Rangers this offseason.

Jeff Wilson has a few notes: Jon Daniels has sent Thad Levine and Matt Vinnola to the GM meetings in his place as he stays home with his newborn child. Thad's got this. Also, Mitch Moreland will have the wrist that troubled him in his rough second half checked out and Mike Olt continues to be amazing in the Arizona Fall League.

Finally, T.R. Sullivan reports that Tuglett's dad will stay on next season as manager of the Rangers' Class A short-season Spokane team.
