This Day in LSB History

Five years ago today, I looked at Chris Young's first season in San Diego, and concluded that he was pretty much an average pitcher who put up a gaudy ERA because he was uniquely well suited to take advantage of the Padres' home park and the great outfield defense behind him.

This was back when people were still complaining about Young being in the Adam Eaton trade, rather than focusing on Adrian Gonzalez's inclusion.

And we got a bunch of comments (for the time) on the post -- over 40!
