Friday a.m. Rangers stuff

Slowly creeping towards pitchers and catchers reporting...

Josh Hamilton signed a 2 year, $24 million deal with the Rangers, meaning that there will be no arbitration hearing this year or next year. 

T.R. Sullivan writes that Hamilton and the Rangers are both hopeful that there will be another long-term contract in place before Hamilton is eligible for free agency after the 2012 season.

Jeff Wilson writes that a trade of Michael Young this spring doesn't appear likely.

Jon Daniels says that "nobody looks good" in the dispute between Young and the Rangers.
