Sunday a.m. Rangers things

Alexi Ogando, Cody Eppley, and Darren Oliver combined for 9 innings of one run ball.  Remarkable.

Anthony Andro's game story talks about the Rangers getting key contributions from pitchers in roles they weren't expected to fill just six weeks ago.

Todd Wills' game story notes that Darren Oliver has a save this year and a save last year, and his previous save was from before the last MLB work stoppage.

Oliver was closing, of course, because Neftali Feliz has been placed on the disabled list, although he's expected to be activated on May 6.

Feliz was replaced on the 25 man roster by Eppley, and Evan Grant writes about Eppley's journey from near-release in 2008 to the majors.

Gil Lebreton wonders whether the Rangers can absorb the loss of both Josh Hamilton and Neftali Feliz, while questioning the decision to deal Frank Francisco for Mike Napoli this offseason.

The S-T's notes talk about Cody Eppley joining the Rangers and Julio Borbon not being in the lineup lately.  Ditto the Ranger website notes.
