Hamilton, Cruz to return on Monday

Texas Rangers outfielders Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz, both of whom are on the disabled list and rehabbing with Round Rock, are expected to be activated and in the lineup for tomorrow's game.

Ron Washington did not mince words on the issue:

"If they make it out of Round Rock tonight and they show up at the ballpark tomorrow ... damn right, they're going to be in that lineup," manager Ron Washington said.

Still up in the air is who will be sent down to make room for Hamilton and Cruz.  With Hamilton supposedly being limited to DH duties, that would make Michael Young the team's every day first baseman, which means that there would be few at bats for Chris Davis.  Mike Napoli would also get less time at first base or DH, which could make Taylor Teagarden superfluous.  Either Craig Gentry or Endy Chavez could also be sent down, although that would leave the team with only one centerfielder until Julio Borbon returns.  Chavez would have to clear waivers and accept an outright assignment if the Rangers drop him from the 25 man roster.
